Pairing my Moxee device failed Follow
These are some reasons you may see an error while pairing your Moxee device to your smartphone, and ways to address each before trying to pair again:
- Bluetooth® in your phone or Moxee device deactivated during the pairing process
- Do not turn off your phone or turn off your phone's Bluetooth until after pairing completes
- A previously paired phone connected to your Moxee device during the pairing process with your current phone.
- Turn off any other phones you have paired with this Moxee device, or turn off Bluetooth on those phones
- Active Bluetooth settings have become damaged on your smartphone
- Restart your iPhone, or on Android, use the "Restart Bluetooth" button in the Moxee App. If you use Android and you have tried restarting Bluetooth twice, try restarting the phone.
- Your smartphone's Bluetooth software is incompatible with the Moxee device
- Check for any updates to the Moxee App available in the App Store or Play Store
- The Moxee device powered off during pairing
- Plug the Moxee device into charge for at least one hour before powering it on and trying pairing again.
- The Moxee device and smartphone were taken too far apart during pairing
- Keep the Moxee device and the phone within 5 feet of each other during pairing.
- The Moxee device's firmware needs to be updated
- Follow any instructions shown in the Moxee App to complete the firmware update.
- The Moxee App needs to be updated
- Check for any updates to the Moxee App available in the App Store or Play Store
- Install the updates
- The smartphone was previously paired to this Moxee device and was not fully removed before retrying the pairing process
