Why am I not receiving notifications? Follow
The Moxee Service delivers three types of notifications.
Connection
If you are not connected to the internet, email and push notifications will be delayed until you reconnect. If you do not have a cellular connection, text message notifications will be delayed until you reconnect.
Contact Information is Incorrect
Reach out to the Account Owner who invited you, and ask them which email address and phone number they entered for you. If it is incorrect, they will need to send you a new invite with the correct information.
Email Notifications
- Make sure your account has the right email address for you. If you are the Account Owner, open the Moxee app, tap on Account Info, and update the email address if it's incorrect. If you are a Contact, reach out to the Account Owner and ask them to check your information in their Contact info in the Moxee app.
- Add alerts@moxee.com to your contacts list to make sure notification emails are shown in your inbox.
- If previous emails have been filtered, unmark them as spam to make sure new emails are shown in your inbox.
- If you check email on a smartphone or tablet, turn on notification permission for your email app.
- If you check email on a smartphone or tablet, turn on push notifications for your smartphone or tablet.
- If you unsubscribed from Moxee email alerts in the past, send an email request for reactivation to signalsupport@mymoxee.com from the email address that should receive messages
Text Message (SMS) Notifications
Text messages arrive from number 38127.
- Make sure your account has the right mobile phone number for you. If you are the Account Owner, open the Moxee App, tap on Account Info, and update the phone number if it's incorrect. If you are a Contact, reach out to the Account Owner and ask them to check your information in their Contacts in the Moxee App.
- If you previously received messages, you may have opted out of text alerts in the past. Send "START" to 38127 to resume message delivery.
- Add numbers 38127 to your phone's contacts app and unblock the number if it was previously blocked.
- Turn on notification permission for your text messaging app.
- Turn on push notifications for your smartphone.
- Contact your phone's cell carrier and confirm they support delivery of SMS from shortcodes for your account.
App Push Notifications
You must have the Moxee App installed and logged in as an Account Owner to receive app push notifications.
- If you are a Contact for a different Account Owner, make sure they invited you with the same phone number and email address as your own Account Owner information.
- Turn on notification permission for the Moxee App.
- Turn on push notifications for your smartphone.
